Your response is a shining example of this rather amusing joke:

"A Russian is on an airliner heading to the US, and the American in the seat next to him asks, “So what brings you to the US?” The Russian replies, “I’m studying the American approach to propaganda.” The American says, “What propaganda?” The Russian says, “That’s what I mean.”

The best part is that even that last answer will be well beyond the comprehension of most Americans :) It's why, as president Eisenhower warned, the MIC can squeeze the US taxpayer dry to keep buying and dropping their overly expensive bombs. Mostly innocent civilains. Like now on Gaza.
