You are forgetting one very gene-determining selection dimension: societal section. In The Secret of Our Success, Joseph Henrich points out that "humans evolved to transmit culture with high fidelity. One of the biggest threats to transmitting culture with high fidelity was Reason." [1] It's why less than 10% of the population has NT (rational-logical intellectual capacity) traits. I wouldn't be surprised that in this looks-and-like superficial and more and more conformist world, these percentages will drop even further. And as intellectual progress is highly dependent on outliers...
But culture is not all stupid. As half of all Western European men descended from one individual male [2], posing a huge genetic diversity risk, and bands of bride-missing-out roaming Männerbünde (the term Julius Evola uses [3]) spread death and destruction across the continent, polygamy was purposely curbed. Making the killing off of these men in multiple senseless wars less a necessity Do you really want to turn back on historical progress, kill off surplus men in superfluous wars (like Ursula von der Leyen is now proposing) and promote marketing man genetics (Musk) to become our new Genghis Khan? Sounds like a perfect script straight out of hell:)
