Why should Europe remain aligned with (or rather in servitude of) the US? I don't see the rationale.

In the post-fossil era, the relinkage of Western European to the rest of Eurasia is a far more logical way to bring peace and prosperity to the continent. Former French president De Gaulle understood it, Gorbachev understood it, so do Putin and Macron. So it's not an if, only a when.

Let's hope the Normandy format will quickly bring the demilitarised zone to Ukraine so that we in Europe all can move on. And not let ourselves be sucked into a US-created conflict with China.
