What are you going to eat and how are you going to pay for it and ....if there is any. That is the core question you should be asking.
As a kid in Tanzania in the late '70s, I remember getting a shipment of food once a month - I was lucky and (white) privileged.
I experienced first hand that civilization is a thin layer...that is why I have invested in a backup for my kid. Just to be on the safe side of history.
4 acres with an own water source planted with fruit and nut trees. Chickens, rabbits, annuals and perennials can be added if we reach that point. I truely hope I will never need to. But that is all it is, hope. On land I know I can trust.
