We have learnt painfully little from all their misery. Take Anthony Fauci for example. First, he messes up with HIV and government lets him repeat his gross negilgence with COVID. (watch Kennedy's damning The Real Anthony Fauci), Or look at the trail of death and destruction that followed Dick Cheney and the many others like him that civil society allows ascension to the seats of power.
It's us that allow such monsters repeatedly on the stage of power and allow them to gag all dissenting voices, like the recent Twitter files have shown. We can't blame Mengele for that, only ourselves for allowing censorship, banning, and book burning to happen. Again and again and again. It's systemic.
So change too must be on a systems level. Like 3 lies in public office and your out of it for life. Would have prevented the Iraq war from ever happening. Changing from "majority rule" to "systemic consensus" would make the country unite instead of feeding the hatered for the other we are now seeing. Organise a dialogue framework linked to all online content so that readers can challenge the facts exposed, remove online anonymity (instead of censorship), remove the delete option (what you say stays and is always linked to you), etc, etc, etc.,.
Change the rules, change the game, change the outcome. Why is that so hard to see?
