Ukraine will never be part of NATO, the Eastern zones will become a demilitarised zone at best (but unlikely because of the EU's and Ukraine's gross mishandling of the Minsk agreements), part of Russia at worst, or simply a newly independent country.

Of course, Ukraine will lose the war. That outcome has always been clear from the very start. I don't understand why it didn't enter the peace talks offered at the very onset of the war. Why did Zelensky cave in to Boris Johnsons' offer? What was that US/UK offer exactly? Get rich quick for their elites whose kids are all safely far far away from the war in the West and certainly will not do any fighting for their country? Wipe the East clean of its population so that multinationals like Cargill can sweep in and buy up all that rich farmland cheaply? What was the true agenda for this horrific madness?

What a huge and sad price to pay for the normal people on both sides of the border. ...I hope history one day will unravel that crucial moment for posterity to learn from.
