Ukraine runs out of trained troops....it's hard to get any trustworthy data but even at a 1:3 loss advantage for Ukraine, in percentage, it's the reverse 9,3% to 3,5%.

And now Russia can defend itself, Ukraine's troop losses will increase. So I don't see how time is to Ukraine's advantage.
