Two big IF's...

1. If raised to consciousness. Good luck :) as by design only 10% of humanity are logical abstract thinkers :) Joseph Henrich > https://slatestarcodex.com/2019/06/04/book-review-the-secret-of-our-success/

Simple minded, sentient (not to use emotional) short term, seeing-is-believing, tribal beings...might not want to get your hopes too high. Even on the sentient part.

2 If included in our model of reality. ...if our societal governance will allow it. We are highly prone to locked-in syndrome, certainly here in the West, and our governance lacks any sense of meta/long term perspective. Perhaps the exception could be engineer led PRC. But even they failed miserably during COVID 19 by not opening up to dissonant input and learning fast and intelligently from it. They too just being typically arrogantly human.

Time to place your bets...on the (not so) sentient beings, nature/physics as usual*, or some black magic transhumanistic swan. My bet is on Murphy 2x (both Tom and the namesake law.)
