"The sooner one accepts there is no predestined meaning to one’s existence, one can reach the highest level of personal freedom". It's more than that.

The absurdity of life opens the door to solidarity with the other. Impossible to understand the man and his life without that dimension.

ps I prefered "A Happy Death" to "The Stranger" by far.
