The interesting question is ...what is top talent?

I remember a popular designer once saying that he was only moderately talented. Had he been even less talented he would have been even more popular. (so here Gauss still holds the fort)

People like what they already know and are familiar with. Echo chambers, they want the reassurance of their mirror image. Give them more of the same + plus a tiny little pinch, not too much, of something new and they'll love it. That is why only when the true innovators are heavily diluted by the second or third-tier creators can they finally be absorbed into the popular culture.

This is what a real EV should look like > https://aptera.us/ Marketing man Musk understands the game...Tesla looks like a car, drives like a car, smells like a car and even de plug looks like a gas nozzle. So all stupid minus the E part. Now take housing: this is what a healthy, zero energy, bio-based, circular, home looks like >> https://cc-studio.nl/works/kashuis/ but I bet you know nobody who lives in one.

And that is where all this self-affirmation goes south. And why outliers like Michael Burry give up trying to warn the system and switch to earning billions off their collective stupidity.

My 3 continents, 5 countries youth deconstructed most cultural lock-ins and social biases. It opened my mind to parallel views and fundamental innovations.
