Thanks, very much enjoyed reading it. Being fan of both Nassim Taleb and Bernard Lietaer it reminded me of the latter's lecture* on resilience.

Applied here results in the two different strategies: predicting versus preparing. Nature has already solved the black swan dilemma by investing far more in resilience (preparing) rather than aim for maximum efficiency (predicting). The difference between long term robustness or extinction:)

And the reverse, rather paradoxal, principle is interesting too: the conscious creation and maintaining of the highest levels of uncertainty as best measure of our human progress.**
