Thanks, good to know. But, sorry no apology as it doesn't change the geography nor the issue.

Israel is not part of Europe and should not enter in its events. If it cannot get on with its neighbours then it should realize that perhaps the Arab grievances may have merit and ought to seek to normalize her relationship with them.

Step one is to start and take those grievances seriously and seek real solutions that all sides can accept to ensure a lasting peace.

For example, instead of carpet bombing civilians in Gaza and Lebanon, selling off Gaza gas to BG, bulldozing down homes and olive orchards of Palestinians in the Westbank and unleashing murderous zeloot "settlers" on their lands, Israel could start by accepting the two state solution, propose decent compensations to all the Palestinian families driven out and harmed since 1948 and evacuate all the illegal settlements in the Westbank.

A next step could be to earn from South Africa's Waarheidscommissie (Truth commission) to clear peoples names and bring truth and redemption.

I'm sure the Arab states would more than welcome such a correct settlement because nobody wants war and refugees nor live in conflict with their neighbors. Before 1948 the Arabs lived in peace with all the religions in Palestine and can do so again.

Israel must just prove she wants to be a respectful part of that region. Start by acting like a true neighbor. Taking part in UEFA etc, hiding behind the US/UK/EU bombs and fencing off Palestinians like animals is doing the exact opposite. That is why UEFA is wrong and why my argument stands and will keep standing until it changes.
