I come to a rather paradoxical metric: the bigger the uncertainty of what is to become, the better. The question we must continuously ask ourselves is: will our action result in an increase or decrease in our future choices and potential.? Enhance or compromise it? This consideration is doable on a qualitative scale, but still rather difficult on a quantitative one.
