So true!

If we were to understand the extent of our locked-in syndrome regarding our current paradigm, (centralised, linear time model fueled by abundant and cheap "fossil" fuels) and change towards a post-fossil fuel rationale (dispersed, contextual, cyclic) we would be surprised at the far higher quality of life we could achieve.

It's so strange we don't (want to) see this huge win.
