The thing is, we are now stuck somewhere in the middle, both will be right. I’m sure technology will help mankind to survive in the long run but the truth is many many people will not live through this transition or live very poorly. Are you absolutely sure on which side of the coin your life is on ….?
That makes humanity now scared, stupid and very dangerous. Making the problem even more difficult.
Hence the urgent need to bridge both the socio-technological global rift as well as collectively push our boundaries in science and technology simultaneously.
