Ranting is reserved for the uninformed. Europe has had 2 World Wars on her soil. The EU was therefore at her core (once) a peace project and awarded the peace prize in 2012, which Baroness Ursula von der Leyen keeps forgetting.
All the smartest leaders of Europe knew/know that the future of Europe lies in Europe, even more so today as thermodynamically as we are moving towards an era of post-fossil fuel.

Calling on for more war in Europe is like wishing the United States a second civil war. Why would you want to wish that on anybody? Unless you are tremendously ignorant or outright evil, the latter I very much doubt.
