Hasn't Sam Harris read a single decent history book? Or any of the writings of thousands of authors like Noam Chomsky, Edward Said or even mainstream ones like Joseph Stiglitz and populist easy readings like Naomi Klein?

To write such a sentance means to have swallowed the post-WWII US-hegemony paradigm propaganda full hook, line and anchor, and internalised it completely. "As we understand", proves Sam Harris has put very little effort into the "understanding" part. Sadly blocking his view on any solutions to the very serious issues at hand.
