not quite, the real agenda is to "extend Russia". Which US newspeak for unbending, aka opening up Russia's rich resources to US interests.
Don't believe me, just read the 2019 pre-invasion US RAND report. Everything we are now seeing was already written in it. Sanctions, export of US energy, "baiting" Russia, the whole lot. Totally shameless because they know that they will get away with everything. Just like Dick Cheney did with the pillage and murder of Irak and its people based on a pack of lies. >
