Not necessarily true:) Prof T. W. Murphy points out* that scientists (I'll add innovators here too) tend to be NT types and that within the population the NT combination is the rarest, comprising only 10% of the population. NT'ers like him who grasp the bigger picture often choose to remain childless or voluntarily limit themselves.

Exponentially this will automatically lead to the extinction of the NT trait within society. Regardless of the expansion of the absolute population numbers. Or perhaps even more so as the urgency increases. Although I strongly advocate the return to the pre-fossil fuel equilibrium of 1-3 bln people, the Silicon Valley pro-natalism activists do hold a valid argument.
