no it's NOT good news, because guess who owned the most shares in Diebold....and are now left empty handed. Yes the same poor fools who own the majority of the US bonds. (Now you know why the likes of Gates moved their money to land. They saw this coming years ahead.)
So I very much agree with Jack Albrecht, the CEO's and CFO's culprits should be finacially stripped to the bone. Let them live in a trailer, not see thier kids go to college and lose their pensions. Personally feel what they have so callously done to others. Force them take full responsiblity for their actions.
That is the real problem here: letting them get away with this again and again and again. Only when we put a definitive end to this can we change to the better.
Adapting to the Rhineland capitalism like model would be a good start. Both share holders and workers should learn to graviate towards companies led by these principles. A management approach based on concepts of cooperation, consensus, social justice, and serving the interests of multiple stakeholders. Chief concern is the long-term sustainability of the enterprise.
