No he doesn't, he markets it. Brilliantly. That is his talent. I have never seen him develop anything truly innovative. It's little more than using more or less existing technologies and building a comercial successful company around it. Smart, yes. But not quite the credentials to save humanity:).

But putting far more scientists (from both STEM and humanities) as wel as far more engineers into political decision making would indeed be a huge leap forward for mankind.
