Maybe I'm just a romantic :) and still believe in the fundament of smart principles to guide us towards a better world. One of these principles is the fundament of inclusiveness. The moment you shut someone out (like giving them a lower score) you are in principle opening the door to violence (internal depression & fear or external > anger).
It's one of the reasons I've been using sociocracy for the last 20 years. The other is because it's the only system I know that takes minority opinions systemically seriously. (due to the consent rule)
Unfortunately, it doesn't scale well. For bigger groups and society as a whole, I would advise using systemic consensus (SK). Watch Felber using it as of minute 12:00 > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsO-b0_r-5Y
More on SK here > https://www.sk-prinzip.eu/#
and it's even available on an App > https://acceptify.at/de/start
