June 2016 the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights reports that "some 9,371 people have been killed and 21,532 others injured in eastern Ukraine since the conflict began in mid-April 2014". So by feb 2022 14.000 killed is more than likely, rather a very conservative figure. So yes, a lie, because the real number is probably much higher than 14.000.
