“Infinite growth is quite simply impossible on a finite world”

WRONG… only under the CURRENT unsustainable policy of extraction.

If in balance with our natural resources* growth takes on new meaning**. Its limit is simply only our imagination…

Now that is a far more positive future prospect.

Let’s please, please, please never ever that mistake again. I grew up in the ’80 and saw what a “no future” generation perspective can lead too. I’ve seen far too many young people succumb under its hopelessness and drugs.

It led whole societies into the lying arms of the Thatchers and Reagans and other neo-liberals of this world. The "greed is good" people that got us in today's mess. (Yes - the Biden's of this world too)

So, no thanks - I'll go for hope: hope of a green, fair and inclusive future for us all. AOC and her GND friends understand this. The rest simply don't. Biden doesn't Harris doesn't. They belong to the establishment elite. They will change absolutely nothing. Yes, Trump is bad. But Biden is worse for stealing hope. Hope of a better future.

Buckminster Fuller is 100% right:

“You never change things by fighting the existing reality.

To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”

Let's be the change we want and never settle for anything less.

** In a bioregion, the word growth takes on a new meaning, which is measured in terms of improvements to the health and carrying capacity of the land, and in the resilience of communities

My 3 continents, 5 countries youth deconstructed most cultural lock-ins and social biases. It opened my mind to parallel views and fundamental innovations.
