It's high time for a Europe united in its aim for peace and prosperity for ALL European people. Her very raison d'etre, why the EU earned the Nobel Peace Prize 2012. This division in collaborating regions (often defined by natural watershed boundaries - ecological shared interests) also much better fits Russia's complicated federation of republics, oblasts, krais, and okrugs. It too would save the EU's current huge crisis in legitimacy. So a massive win-win for all of us in Europe.
