I gave up too, but because the problem is government and corporate (in or wrong)action. They simply cannot think outside of the existing box (just look at the sheer idiocy of all their subsidy frameworks).

Not being "in the box", aka not being part of the "in-crowd" is a problem most innovators face. I am no longer wasting my valuable time trying to convince others.

I am now hedging idiot policy and looking 10 years ahead. I bought 4 hectares of good, more or less climate change resilient enough (I hope) farmland and am preparing it for low-maintenance, sustainable, agroforestry. As a backup. We are lucky we can afford it.
