Have you ever considered the idea that it could perhaps be the very product of our majority rules-based system?

The majority holds all the power and doesn't need to listen, so they don't. Hence please explain the point of trying to convince them of any opposite... Just use the magic word "socialism", watch and see :)

So I would state the opposite:

Knowing that it is totally pointless is an important step in our societal emancipation. The first step towards a far smarter system. Expect to see more and more intentional communities and other bottom-up transformations arising as people now understand and accept that they must take their future into their own hands as no one else is going to bring about the change they need.
