Every conflict is always caused by two sides. Hitler would never have come into power if the allies after WOI hadn't crippled Germany with their victors Treaty of Versailles. This fueled a collective resentment and deep and shared hatred against the allies. The allies learnt that hard lesson and effected the Marshall Plan after WOII instead of repeating this mistake. Wise men.

In 1987 the West forgot this history lesson. Instead of helping Gorbachev with his Perestroika by offering him a Marshall Plan like support, we the West turned our backs on the Russians. The neocons with Ronald Reagan as their enabler backed raw capitalism and supported Yeltsin instead. Looting Russia of her resources and creating chaos. Leading millions of Russians into dire poverty and near starvation.

Putin saved the Russians from this mess. He even tried to rebuild the relations with the West but to no avail. The opposite even as the US MIC's were in bad need of an enemy to rob the US citizens of their taxes.

The US's military spending is $801 bn/a, the other NATO members about $363 bn/a and Russia's a mere $66 bn/a. So collectively the West is thus spending 18x more on their war machine than Russians are. Money which should have been spent on building peace and bringing prosperity instead (also to the millions of US poor) Shame on us. And shame on you for wanting the death of any countries elected president.
