ever heard of the Overton window.... it took me 55 years to realise I've always been on the unthinkable/radical window. What to me simply just seems to be common sense informed by rational logic...is for most, to my huge surprise, way off the charts.

I learnt that general human behaviour is basically governed by emotions, (local) heuristics and culturally programmed biases. So forget trying to convince others and let it go.

Invest your time and money to do your own thing. Walk your own talk, prove your point,...design, build, write, paint, program, etc.. (see my home >https://cc-studio.nl/works/kashuis/)

The role of pioneers is to walk alone with their lanterns deep into the dark. To create new points of faraway reference for others to (perhaps) follow someday. It are these others that then will push the Overton window towards acceptable, sensible and popular. That's not our role and it would bore me to death:)

My 3 continents, 5 countries youth deconstructed most cultural lock-ins and social biases. It opened my mind to parallel views and fundamental innovations.
