By allowing US bases on their soil Qatar IS COMPLICIT to all the actions that are facilitated from that point.

That rationale is obvious. Change the setting and you see that straight away. Imagine the Irish, grudging the English for centuries of violent oppression, offering Hitler a base in Dublin.... A base from which at a stone's throw they could bomb the entire industrial heart of the UK: Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Birmingham, etc. The English would simply label that complicity and bomb Dublin to ashes.

The really interesting question is why is Qatar facilitating the US...a dying empire...aren't they very afraid of the long-term consequences of this alliance?
