As a European that's worrying me greatly.
The US and her minions (us) are doing all they possibly can to stir up the flames in the Middle East. to a dangerous hight. Their illegal bombing of Iraq (again!!!), Syria, and Jemen, their unrelenting armament support of Israel's genocide. Our over-zealous PM, Mark Rutte (NL), badly wants the NATO chair to crown his people's devastating career. Like with Jaap de Hoop Scheffer's appointment to that chair,, the Trans-Atlantic price is always human blood. Never theirs (Irak 600.000)...
So the only way to make any sense of the overly vicious war in Gaza is to try and find an underlying meta-logic. Reading these two following posts consecutively points towards a clear undertow: aiming for war with Iran. They want to bait Iran, just like they successfully baited Russia in Ukraine in 2014.

It's high time for Europe to leave this bloody Trans-Atlantic strange hold enforced upon her by NATO.
It's time to aim for a shared continental future without the US. A renaissance of an extended Trans-Eurasian cooperation.
