As a critical thinker perhaps one ought to challenge that too :)

Majority rule is set up to effectively pacify minorities.. It's divisive, not bonding. That is why I’ve moved on to Systemic Consensus. See it in action as from 12:00 >> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsO-b0_r-5Y It's far more scaleable than Sociocraty, which I've been using for the last 20 years.

And yes, the commodification of education is also rampant here in Europe (bolstered by the EU-Bologna Agreement for the "harmonisation of the educational market") It's why I gave up teaching at uni. The incidences of gross incompetence of the yeasayers enforcing it upon us were becoming so painfully absurd that I forced my dean to save her precious career by shutting me up with 5 years' worth of severance pay.

It's so telling that she chose her career above fighting to improve the declining quality of the education she was offering her students. One can't change the times we are living in, only choose where. I'm just happy I'm not part of that system any more.

Although I do find the social dynamics of this process of systemic institutional degradation rather fascinating. As it seems to be happening everywhere. The why? triggers my curiosity...Is it just me getting older or is there more to it that I'm not yet seeing?

My 3 continents, 5 countries youth deconstructed most cultural lock-ins and social biases. It opened my mind to parallel views and fundamental innovations.
