Acceptance also means understanding that we always have choices. Like the choice of how you want to ride the waves of change and shape your own history.
Fundamental acceptance makes letting go of today a lot easier. It frees one to sometimes make hard but much wiser choices, like relocating to a far better context.
The Netherlands, where I live, has a land carrying capacity of 4-5 million people. Yet our current policies are heading us towards 20 million mouths to feed. The equation is rather straightforward: relocate while it is still possible and affordable to do so, or force your children to live in a future context of hunger, civil turbulence and much harder exit oppertunities?
For now, I've chosen to buy land in France, but if I look honestly at the full future resource potential (land, energy, metals and minerals) I perhaps should seriously start considering moving to Russia.
